Current international projects for students include student exchange for undergraduate and graduate students, 2+2 project for undergraduate student, graduate recommendation (4+1) project, 1+1 project for master students, short-term project (summer or winter), graduate student project supported by CSC scholarship, etc.
SEM undergraduate and graduate students may apply for student exchange for one semester. The tuition fee at host university is usually free, but the students need to afford the living expense at the host university.
Undergraduate students may participate in 2+2 project in year 3. The students study first 2 years at BJTU, then transfer to a partner university for the other 2 years, and obtain bachelor’s degrees from both universities.
Senior students of undergraduate program may apply for 4+1 project in their last year at BJTU and get recommendation to an oversea partner university to study for a master’s degree.
Master’s students at year 2 may participate in this project to study abroad at a partner university for a master’s degree. The student then will come back to BJTU to finish their master’s degree.
All SEM students may participate in short-term project to study abroad.
Graduate students, especially PhD students may apply for study abroad at a partner university and apply for CSC scholarship for one year or more.
