On September 21, 2022, the School of Economics and Management and KPMG China School Enterprise Cooperation Exchange Meeting was held in the Sidong 611 Conference Room. Vice Dean Qiu Xiaodong, Director of MPAcc Center Yao Lijie, Director of Professional Degree Teaching Sharing Center Zhang Lei, and KPMG Audit and Consulting Partners Cao Lu, Lei Jiang, and Li Jing attended and delivered speeches. The meeting was chaired by Feng Yao, Deputy Director of Employment Guidance and Alumni Development Center.

Firstly, Vice Dean Qiu Xiaodong warmly welcomed the arrival of KPMG China and its team, and expressed sincere gratitude to KPMG China for its long-term and highly valued cooperation with the School of Economics and Management, as well as the strong support provided by the School in talent cultivating and international certification work. He introduced the achievements of the college's reform and innovation in recent years. The economics and management discipline originated from the beginning of the school's establishment, with a profound historical background and comprehensive disciplines, ranking among the top in the discipline evaluation of the Ministry of Education; In the same year, it had been certified by three major international first-class business schools, and the quality of its education has reached the level of an international first-class business school. He stated that the college always focuses on talent cultivation, and professional degree education aiming to cultivate high-level application-oriented specialized talents. It is necessary to continuously deepen comprehensive and in-depth cooperation between schools and enterprises, collaborate with industry, academia, and research in talent cultivation, teaching and research, and internship practice, jointly cultivate industry leading talents, and jointly create distinctive and influential industries A demonstration project for talent cultivation of school enterprise industry education integration that can play a leading role.

Yao Lijie introduced the development of the Master's Center in Accounting. As one of the six A-level member units of the National Accounting Master's Degree Education Quality Certification (AAPEQ), the quality of education has been widely recognized by society. The center attaches great importance to industrial connections, integrates experts from both inside and outside the school, and cultivates applied talents who combine theory and practice through group teaching, mobile classrooms, case teaching, and other methods. The "KPMG Class" is a characteristic brand project of the Master's Center for Accounting at Beijing Jiaotong University, which has a profound impact on guiding students' values and improving their internship practical abilities. We hope to continue exploring cooperation with KPMG China in various aspects such as training plan revision, joint teaching, and case teaching.

Cao Lu briefly reviewed the process of school enterprise cooperation. She pointed out that the "KPMG Class" has recruited a total of 213 students for seven sessions. Through thematic practical lectures, mentor meetings, school enterprise joint public welfare activities, and other activities, a platform has been established for in-depth communication between students and corporate mentors, a second classroom has been created, and students' growth and talent have been promoted. In addition, suggestions were put forward for student career development planning guidance, cutting-edge course design, practical case sharing, and mentor-student exchanges. We hope to jointly cultivate industry talents, solve industry problems, and promote industry development through sustainable talent cultivation and continuously deepening communication and cooperation.

Subsequently, the two sides had extensive exchanges and discussions on talent cultivation and expandable cooperation areas, and reached a consensus on cooperation in course research and development, competition guidance, class construction, paper topic selection, and practical problem exploration, laying a solid foundation for the substantive promotion of related work in the future.
