On November 11, 2022, the Dean of the School of Economics and Management, Shi Xianliang, and his delegation visited China Railway Materials Group. Tang Jianyong, the General Manager and Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the enterprise, met Shi's group and exchanged ideas. The two sides held discussions on school-enterprise cooperation in talent training, joint scientific research, and other aspects.

Shi Xianliang expressed gratitude to China Railway Materials Group for its long-term concern and support for the construction and development of the college, and introduced the reform and innovation development of the college in recent years. He stated that as a business school with a long history of education and distinct disciplinary characteristics, Economics and Management has always been in line with the development needs of the railway industry for many years, actively matching the development needs of the industry, carrying out corresponding talent cultivate, scientific research, policy consultancy and other work, and has achieved a series of achievements. He hoped that schools and enterprises could work together to collaborate with industry, academia, and research institutes to innovate, and deepen interaction and cooperation in talent cultivation, project application, and technological research, jointly promotig high-quality development of the industry.

Tang Jianyong extended a warm welcome to Shi Xianliang and his delegation, and expressed gratitude to the college for its talent and intellectual support to China Railway Materials Group over the years. He pointed out that the school-enterprise exchange is a deepening cooperation under the strategic signing between China Railway Construction Corporation and Beijing Jiaotong University. He hoped to expand cooperation in professional talent cultivation, cadre and high-level technical personnel training, especially in the construction of "new infrastructure" for digital transformation, intelligent upgrading, and integrated innovation, and achieve high integration in traditional infrastructure transformation and upgrading, innovation platform construction, and customized talent training.

Subsequently, the two sides extensively discussed and reached a consensus on cooperation around the signing of the agreement, the construction of internship practice bases, mutual recruitment of experts, talent training, and scientific research cooperation.
