Seven Cases of SEM Selected as 9th 100 Outstanding Management Cases in China

The selection of ninth 100 Outstanding Management Cases in China sponsored by the National MBA Education Steering Committee and the China Management Case-Sharing Center has been completed recently. A total of 842 cases from 122 colleges and universities of China participated with 600 as general project cases. After two rounds of expert review, 92 cases from 45 colleges and universities were selected as the 100 Outstanding Management Cases in China. The School of Economics and Management of Beijing Jiaotong University (SEM) achieved a good result in this selection, and became the university with the most awards with a total of 7 cases selected.

Since 2010, the National MBA Education Steering Committee started the selection of 100 Outstanding Management Cases and has successfully held nine sessions so far.  Now, this honorary title has become the highest award in China's management case competition. In 2012, the Ministry of Education announced the 3rd Round Index System of Discipline Evaluation. The award 100 Outstanding Management Cases was included in the evaluation criteria (C5). The SEM has won this award for four consecutive years with cases selected every year, and won the Best Organization Award for three consecutive years. 

The SEM will continue to encourage the faculty and students to develop original, practical and targeted teaching cases with high quality, promote the continuous improvement of the case teaching, and actively participate in the innovation of Chinese original management theory.
