Our teachers were invited to attend the China-Norway Science and Technology Cooperation Day and make a keynote speech

On April 17, 2018, at the invitation of Ministry of Science and Technology and University of Oslo, Norway, representatives from our school attended China-Norway Science and Technology Cooperation Day cosponsored by China Ministry of Science and Technology and Ministry of Education and Research of the Kingdom of Norway.  Scientific research and educational institutions and university delegations gathered at the event to exchange ideas on topics of mutually concerned policy, technology and innovation.

The conference has a main venue and seven parallel sub-forums, which cover Sino-Norwegian energy, the docking of digitized key areas, the economic and social impact of new technology development, data integration of scientific research assessment and policy, computational physics and future innovation, photovoltaic technology innovation, system innovation cooperation and development and new technologies, independent life and the United Nations sustainable development goals, etc.. At the sub-forum System Innovation Cooperation and Development, Prof. Cui Yongmei from our school delivered a speech titled Research on innovation processes for financial integration of endangered enterprises. At the final report of the conference, Professor Cui Yongmei made a summary report on behalf of the System Innovation Cooperation and Development Sub-forum. Wei Wenchao, a young teacher of Logistics Department, and Zhang Lei, director of Academic Development and Research Office, attended the event.

Sub-forum Attendance

In the afternoon of the same day, Professor Hans Andreas Blom, President of University of Oslo, Norway, Professor Trond Hammervoll, Dean of School of Business, Languages and Social Sciences visited our school. Professor Hua Guowei, vice dean of School of Economics and Management, welcomed President Hans Andreas Blom and the professors and introduced the School development history, discipline construction, and international exchanges and cooperation. The two sides held in-depth discussions on future cooperation in various aspects.

Professor Hans Andreas Blom hoped to establish a long-term partnership with School of Economics and Management of Beijing Jiaotong University. The two sides could cooperate in teacher exchange and academic activities, such as seminars and special lectures in the context of Belt and Road to further strengthen talent training and scientific research cooperation. Wang Yayi, Lu Xiaochun, Li Yuanhui, Wei Wenchao, Zhou Huiyu from International Exchange Center, and Zhang Lei from Academic Development and Research Office attended the meeting.
