On the afternoon of October 26, 2017, the advisor of EQUIS Accreditation, Professor Yi Zhihong, who from Renmin University of China formally signed the contract with School and guided the accreditation work of School. Dean of School Zhang Qiusheng, Vice Dean Hua Guowei, Director of the International Accreditation and Strategic Planning Office Cao Weibing attended the meeting.

Professor Yi Zhihong discussed relevant problems of the School Briefing Visit Report  on the meeting, and put forward suggestions for improvement on the internationalization development, Weihai Campus construction, faculty attraction, research institution construction and other issues. Professor Yi Zhihong pointed that School needs to further improve the EQUIS Datasheet based on the recent work, and strives to finish and submit the final EQUIS Datasheet in January 2018. It is believed that with the active participation and support of faculty, the EQUIS Accreditation work of SEM will be promoted smoothly.

At the meeting, Dean Zhang Qiusheng and Vice Dean Hua Guowei expressed the welcome and appreciation on Professor Yis becoming the Schools advisor of EQUIS Accreditation, and communicated with Professor Yi on the EQUIS Accreditation programme and the related issues about the Weihai campus research.
