Professor LIN Xiaoyan's monograph in Arabic"High Speed Railway and New Pattern of Economic and Social Development" was published by Egypt Spharspha Press in February 2020.

The first edition of “High-Speed Railway and New Pattern of Economic and Social Development” was published in 2015 and the second edition in 2017 by the Social Sciences Academic Press which was the result of the project supported by the National Social Science Fund. The book has been funded by the National Social Science Fund-Chinese Translation Projects in English(17WJY001), Russian(17WY002), and the State Administration of Press-Publication, Radio, Film and Television's Silk Road Book Project Key Translation Funding Projects in Arabic(2017), Lao(2017), Malay(2018) and other foreign translation projects. The Arabic edition was the first of its kind in a foreign language. The translation work was supported by the National Social Science Fund Project "Research on the Analytical Framework and Evolutionary Path of China's High-Speed Rail Economic Theory", which was chaired by the author.
